Program Description:
Health Informatics Diploma is a professional diploma provides a broad view of current information technology applications and standards in healthcare, challenges of implementation and management of health information technology. The Program is conducted over one-year, one day per week ( 6 hours per day )or two days per week ( 3 hours per day).
Candidates:
The Health Informatics Diploma targets healthcare providers who are interested in the advancement of information technologies in healthcare delivery sector.

Semester I Course Title:
- Introduction to Health Informatics
- Introduction to information and computer science (Part-1)
- Introduction to health research and statistics
- Health Management Information System (Part-1)
Semester II Course Title:
- Introduction to project management
- Communication, change and leadership
- Health workflow process analysis and redesign
- Standards and interoperability
- Medical coding, ICD-11 and ICHI
Semester III Course Title:
- Introduction to information and computer science (Part-2)
- Health Management Information System (Part-2)
- Installation and maintenance of health IT systems
- Health data analytics
- Final Project
